I love being organized but its definitely not easy with my crazy life. So I am always looking for great products to help me stay on top of things. I know many of you have a resolution or goal to stay organized as well. With blogging, freelance writing, going to school full time, and having four kids I have shear chaos surrounding me all the time. I have to work hard to track everything and remember what I need to do and where I need to be. I have notes scribbled on random pieces of paper, in various places of my computer and my phone, etc. I need one place to keep everything and track everything. I have been on the hunt for a great organizer and have found the perfect product, so I thought I would share it with you to help you with your goals as well.
I absolutely love the Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery line, as I have mentioned before. They have stylish products that are high quality to help you stay organized. One of their products is the Discbound Notebook and accessories. Boy have notebook planners really come a long way! The Martha Stewart Discbound Notebook is a versatile product that can be anything from a convenient notebook to a full-blown planner and more. It is very sturdy and clearly can stand a lot of torture. I got the notebook that is 61/2″ x 9″, which is big enough to hold lots of information yet not so large that its cumbersome. If you want typical paper size they also have a larger one.

The notebook has a textured black cover that is solid and feels great. The notebook came with a few accessories, like lined paper, a clear storage pocket, calendar, and more. I also got some extra accessories to help me get all set up – specifically a 5-tab set of dividers and task pad. Hubby and I went to Staples this weekend and we checked out the whole Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery line. I had way too much fun playing with all the different options and accessories they had. Hubby says I have an obsession! They have everything from expansion disks, various calendar versions, and more. I will probably be picking up a few more accessories as I get a feel for anything else I might need. But for now I am loving everything I have.
The disc bound style was a new concept for me. I love that you can easily add and remove items without a giant mess, or having to open and close rings. For some reason any time I use a ring system I tend to make everything fall out when I open it. With the disc bound system that is not an issue! I did try to put the entire task pad in at once and had a hard time – but then I did half at a time and it popped right in. I don’t think you’re supposed to try and push 50 pages in at once – oops. I set up the notebook so that I have everything going on in my calendar and I also have a section for the notes that I am always jotting down. I’m also loving the task pad for things like to-do lists and grocery lists. I throw the notebook in my purse when I’m out of the house and bring it to my desk when I get home. Having everything in one place is wonderful!
If you are trying yo get yourself more organized this year I think the Discbound Notebook is a great solution for you. You can personalize it to anything you need and it will stand up to a beating. To see all the color options and accessories make sure you head over to Avery. It’s a great way to get organized in style!

Avery Office Products, and it’s partner Red Sky PR, offered these products to facilitate this review. All opinions are always my own.

VERY cool! I actually stay organized using my Erincondren planner. However, I noticed that Martha Stewart has a planner that is VERY similar (at less than half the cost).

I have a disc bound notebook I use as a planner. I love it because it lays flat and is easy to add and remove pages.

I LOVE the Martha products from Avery/Staples. Very cool idea with the disk bound book. I’m going to have to look into that next year when it’s time to get a new planner.
